Creating a Frame Title Block

This task shows you how to insert a frame and a title block on the background sheet.

Open a CATDrawing document.

1. Select the Edit->Background command from the menu bar.

2. Click the Frame Creation

icon from the Drawing toolbar.

The Insert Frame and Title Block dialog box is displayed.

Choose a format from the Style of Titleblock drop-down list.

Indicate the operation you want to perform in the Action list:

	create the frame and the title block: `Creation` option,
	delete the frame and the title block: `Deletion` option,
	resize the frame and the title block (if you change the page format in `File -> Page Setup`): `Resizing` option,
	update the frame and title block if the part has been modified: `Update`option,
	complete the "Checked by" field and automatically update the checking date: `CheckedBy` option ,
	add a revision block: `AddRevisionBlock` option.

Blank information in the part will be substituted by "XXX" in the drawing.

3. Click OK in the Insert Frame and Title Block dialog box.

You can modify the macro to add actions or create new macros to add specific formats.
